Speakcheck research identified 150 separate components that determine a speaker's effectiveness. Our research drew from the lessons of strategic communications and organizational and interpersonal behaviour to target those components that define leadership.
Some components relate to content and clarity of purpose, some to delivery, and others to critical leadership traits, such as credibility and trustworthiness. The 150 components are weighted and grouped into 10 categories for analysis. Each Speakcheck analysis is calibrated to the content and purpose of the speech being measured.
The resulting report tells a leader where he or she excels. More important, it identifies which components offer the best opportunities for improvement.

To ensure the reliability and validity of Speakcheck scores, Speakcheck evaluations can only be completed by authorized individuals. Each is rigorously trained and certified. Following certification, Speakcheck evaluators are monitored to ensure their scores remain consistent, against benchmark speakers and over time.
